  1. Long ago there lived a race in Ireland, and they dug under the road out at Ballyaddams. If you went along in a horse and cart you would hear the hollow sound like thunder. The people say that it runs from the castle to the lime Kiln and it was a secread passage to get by the main road to Athy.
