  1. I heard that one day near Athy a man named Murphy went out to cut down a fairy tree near the moat. And when he was cutting down the tree he suddenly got blind and he said to the other man who was with him “what time is it. The other man said “Half past eleven”. The blind man said to him “It is half past eleven in the night”. So the man helped him down and when he got home he could see again.
