    Wild birds are very numerous in this district. Swallows, crows, blackbirds, robins, larks, wrens, thrushes, and cuckoos, are to be found.
    There are only two birds that migrate, they are the cuckoo, which goes to Africa, and the swallow which goes to Egypt.
    Some birds build their nests on the tops of the highest trees they can find. Others build
