  1. My grandfather Michael Dunne lives in Glasealy. He was coming from Crookstown and he saw a dog and as big as a calf between Crookstown and the Wood-Hill at the Minster Avenue. My grandfather turned around to look at the dog and it disappeared. Some people say it was the devil in the form of a dog.
