    light-headed, and if its finger-nails are cut it will be light-fingered. If its a baby boy its bad to let it cry too much it tends towards inward convulsions.

  2. If a baby is crying very much a red cinder is taken out of the fire, and placed in a cup of hot water, - then the water is given to the child to drink - afterwards the child usually goes to sleep.
    The 18th May is considered a lucky day on which to be born, and the 13th May is an unlucky date.
