    6. Bride & Bridegroom should not see each other the Wedding Morning until they are at Altar Rails _ If they do it is considered very unlucky and they will be very unhappy.

    something old
    something new
    something borrowed
    and something blue.
    9. Married in blue you're sure to prove true.
    Married in green you're ashamed to be seen.
    Married in red you'll soon be dead.
    Married in White you're chosen alright.
    Married in pink your spirits will sink
    Married in Brown you'll live out of town.
    Married in Black you'll wish you were back.
    Married in yellow _ he's a very good fellow.
    Married in grey _ you'll rue the day.
