  1. 1 If new Moon appears on its back it is a sign that severe weather will follow.
    2 If there is a halo round moon and the following night no moon be seen _ a storm will follow.
    3 When cows are put out in the morning if they saunter round indifferently it denotes fine - weather, but if they begin to eat grass immediately _ a storm will soon follow.
    4 When sea-gulls fly towards land there is a storm at sea _ when they fly towards sea - there is a storm on land.
