    There were some great singers long ago namely Mrs. Murray Mylerstown who lived about twenty years ago. Michael Hyland Kildoon who lived about thirty years ago. John Mac Cormack is about yer.
    P. Cullen Waterstown, P. Kelly and J. Murray Riverstown were famous storytellers.
    Mr. Morgan, Mr O'Brien and J. Murray Riverstown were famous storytellers.
    Mr. Morgan, Mr O'Brien and J. Toole were famous for their dancing.
    The most famed jumpers were - J. Cathal, Pollock Dinnie Fitzpatrick Waterstown and P. O'Brien Boherbawn.

  2. Sally Lalor an Mary Waters were famous dancers. They lived at Fassagh, Monasteravan.
    When eighty years of age they they used to walk to the races at the Heath of Marlboro and then dance all day for the hundreds of spectators.
