  1. The Dead Coach 31-8-'38
It is said that long ago the dead coach went through the streets in the middle of the night. An old woman saw it pass through the town of Monasterevan. She describes it as being a long black coach with four wheels. it is drawn by four horses. There are black curtains on the windows and they are drawn back. The coffin is like an ordinary one. Some people say it is a sign of death.
