  1. There was a house in Ballysoughan about a century ago. It was built on what it was called as the "Fairies Pass".
    Each night they came along and passed through the window of the house if it was opened, and if it was closed they broke it in.
    Coolegegan
    Fairies long ago used to inhabit the lands of Coolegegan it was then owned by a man named Mr Shamp. One night there was a man out in the fields minding sheep. He was sleeping in one of the sheep cribs and all night he was carried around the field in the crib.
    The Dead Coach used also pass through the yard. There were two avenues leading to the
