    Vinegar applied to brown paper is used to cure a head ache.
    Horse hair tied firmly around a wart causes it to fall off.
    A Man named Behan, of Ballinrahan Rathangan, cures a wasting or fever in delicate children. He is said to have the cure of the Meneric, or Mon aer ick. His services are alleged to have been availed of by even medical men to cure delicacy in their children.
    If a person afflicted with warts accidentally meets a snail, rubs him on the wart, then sticks him on a stick to die, the wart withers according as the snail dies.

    Jaundice is cured by going out under the legs of an ass. .
    Boiling potato water cures whitlow.
    A raw potato scraped, makes a cure for cuts or boils, especially if used as a poultice.
    Salt is a cure for deep cuts in the body.
    If a woman's maiden name be the same as that of the man she marries, a slice of ordinary bread made by her is supposed
