    when the English were killing the Irish Catholics. The monks of the monastery built a tunnel through the ground to get to Kildare. There was an opening found in Guing's sandpit (half-a-mile away) a few years ago and it was supposed to have been the tunnel.

  2. There is a small hill on James Grady's land near the road, and there is supposed to have been a graveyard there many years ago. When Mr. Grady's grandfather was living on the farm he is supposed to have ploughed up the hill. He found a cave
