  1. My Father told me that his Grandfather was evicted from Grangemore as well as four other Keenan families long ago. When the bailiffs would be coming to the houses to put them out. The people used to fight them with pitch-forks and rotten-eggs and used to pour pitch down on them to keep them away for a while. The people were only have three beds. Then the people went to other houses.
