    The milk was taken from the cows of a man called Johnny White who lived near Rosslea...

    The milk was taken from the cows of a man called Johnny White who lived near Rosslea. He was advised to go to a neighbour "a good woman" who had the "cure".
    Johnny could not be persuaded to go so someone brought the good woman to him. She performed the charm and she asked for a noggin which she filled with spring water. She told him to look into the noggin and he would see the face of a man who was bewitching the cows.
    Johnny would not look into the noggin.
    "Well", said the good woman, "I'll tell you what will happen. You will be going past the house and the owner of that house will shout out in pain and he will say, "For God's sake, come in and cut
