  1. A man named Finlay was hired in Moore Harper's, Liseveny, Parish of Ematris, Barony of Dartrey about
    One day he was sent out to the bog with the servant-girl to lift turf. He gathered, stood upright one turf at each corner of the bog, then all the other sods of turf got up of their own accord.
    But next morning all were down except the four lifted by the boy himself.
    Another story is told of him. One day he was crossing a fence with a companion when he strained his leg. Got his comrade to pull the affected leg and to his horror it parted from the body.
    Quite calmly Finlay lifted the leg and immediately it went on
