  1. Owen was the great grandfather of the present Owen.
    Paddy Gavan of Nart saw a red light in the hollow one morning when coming off his Ceile. This light moved along through the bushes making a great noise. Every step paddy took, it took one too. When he rushed back a few steps it went on too. When he went on a few steps it went on too. It escorted him to his own door as he could not get away from it. Next night he took another man with him and both of them saw the red light
