    Bankers
This name was given to people who bought corn during the "Bad Years", made it into oatmeal, and sold it to the poor people for seven shillings a stone.
The O'Hares of Cremoyle, Parish of Kilmore were bankers. They had a big stock of oatmeal when the Indian meal came out. This meal rotted and dug out of the hogheads in maggots.
