    Dan O'Hara's Fort is situated in Rawdeerpark, about two miles from Newbliss and three miles from Clones. At one time is was supposed to be a "gentle place". Old people around there living used to tell the young folk fairy tales about it. In olden times the farmers' wives used to milk the cows out in the open fields, and one evening, as Mrs McCaffrey was milking a black cow, she heard, as she thought, a baby
