  1. There is a fort in Mullinahinshina, Inniskeen, Co Monaghan. One day a man was ploughing on this fort. It was on Good Friday. The people at that time used eat nothing until after twelve o'clock mid-day. When he came to the "headland", he saw a plate with a heron on it and two cuts of bread on the ditch. he did not touch it. When he came up again to the "headland" the food was not there.

  2. There is a Fairy Fort in the district of Killabola, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan. Fairies were seen on it regularly in olden times. They are not seen now on it.
