  1. In the district of Ballintra, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, there is a rock, and it is called the "Stoney Rock". The priests long ago used to say Mass on it, there are some stones with words cut out on them. There is an old cave where the priests used to live. There is a path still leading up to the cave.

  2. In Killabola, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan there is a fort in which there is a cave. It is believed that a priest to say the Mass at this cave. There is a large tree growing beside it. When the priest used hear the soldiers coming he used hide in this cave. The tree is still, and no one dare go near it to touch it.
