This school was held in Fitzpatrick's fort in Knockreas,Inniskeen, Co Monaghan under a big bush. This school was held in the open. Irish and English was spoken in this school. The children used to sit on big stones. There was a large stone used for a blackboard. The pay that Mr Meegan received was a bag of of oats, and a load of turf from the parents of the children who were attending school as often as he needed them.
