  1. About ninety - two years ago there lived a man named James Mc Gahon of Mullinahinsa, In niskeen, Co. Monaghan. He was the man who first made a plough in this district. It was a wooden one, and the man who worked it was his brother, John Mc Gahan. It was a good plough, and lasted many years.
