    He carried it round Moyles' Mills three times and said "I am fit for a ton." So he was called the "Ton man" afterwards. James Meegan Lannet was a good step dancer.

    About twelve years ago there lived a man named John Ward, Broomfield, Donaghmoyne, Co. Monaghan. He won first prize every where he went for dancing. The dances he had were the Hornpipe, Jigs, and Reels.
