    years ago water diviners traced the course which the water took underground. One water course circled round the field and continued on its course around the Catholic Church. The water diviners are consulted by farmers and others who are desirous of sinking pumps.

  2. Our ancestors believed in the efficacy of herbs to cure nearly every ailment to which we are liable. Here are the name of some of those herbs and the diseases which it is claimed they cure.
    Chicken Weed, - a cure for a strained ankle or swelling.
    Water Grass, - cure inward diseases and purify the blood.
    Hound's Tongue, - a cure for the cough.
    Dandelion, - is used by those who have
