  1. We have no Churn at home but there is a Churn with a neighbours who has a dash-churn. It is two or three years old, the butter is made once or twice in the week. The people from round the district if they came in when the churning is going on, would help in the churning. The churning would go on for twenty minutes or half an hour. The dash-churn is worked by the hand, it is worked up and down. The people know when they would see the butter on the top of the milk that the Churn is made.
