  1. There are four grave yards within the chapel of Dunmore area.
One in Dunmore at the chapel one in Baunfada, one at Doyles on the Hollow on the Old Road Kilkenny one near the back entrance to Jenkinstown Castle. on main road to Castlecomer from Kilkenny
The only one now used is the one at the Dunmore Church, the others are long ago disused.
Of these Baunfada grave-yard is round in shape. It contains in a good state the ruins of an old Abbey or church. This is perhaps the oldest one in the parish of all the grave yards. There is a wall of loose stones all round it and the people lately did repairs to the fallen parts of the wall, so that it is now in good repair and no cattle can wander into it. It abounds in trees - yew trees principally.
Very old stones both round and obling, flat mostly are there and some date back 300 years.
