    a field on a height over a river in the Ballyvalden district.
    GARRA-BUIDHE-
    probably so-called from the furze. In the same district.
    PÁIRC MÓR-
    as it signifies is a very big field in the same district.
    CLAIS NA h-ABHANN
    is a field by a river with a valley in it. Same district.
    TOBAR-
    a field as it signifies with a well in one corner of it. Same district.
    GARRDHA AROOGE-
    probably means "a field of corn" as the slender "N" in Kilkenny always got an "S" or "G" sound. It would be "garrdha arbhair". It belongs to Martin Tynan of Castlekelly which is a mile south of Paulstown. It is beside the road and the river called the " seven springs " runs through it.
