  1. There is a thatched house in Poll na Gcat which is situated about a quarter of a mile from Paulstown on the Paulstown to Gowran road in which Miss Brennan and her sister are now living. One day when the woman of the house was working a little woman about four feet in height came into her and asked her for a plate of meal. The woman said she had not any and the little woman said she had and the woman of the house again said she had not. The little woman continued to repeat that she had. After a while the woman of the house got tired arguing and she went and got the meal for her and put it in her apron. The little woman went off and after she had gone the woman of the house went to see where the little woman went but not a
