One night an old man from the village took the comb from the banshee, and every night for a week she came to his window crying for her comb. The old man did not know what to do, at last he thought of a plan. The next night when the banshee come, he put the comb on a tongs and opened (a)the window and put out the tongs, she then swept the tongs out of his hands.
