    green parts of the soil near the Rath in Grangehill. Next morning, the grass was as green as ever on the Rath. He ploughed it again and again and the same thing always occurred.
    Rath in Moon-hall. It is said in connection with this rath that one night, as boys of the neighbourhood were returning home (late at night) from a friend's house, they took a short cut through this Rath. They heard noises there and looking saw several little figures dressed in red kicking a foot-ball. This place is believed to have been the abode of "Leprecans".
    There is a story told about a man named Thos. Knox who lived some years ago in Grangehill. He built a
