Cruach an múchadh - a hill in the townland of Grangehill, Clara - so called because it is believed there was a skirmish here between Cromwell's soldiers and the natives, the latter being near wiped out (or extinguished, hence múchadh, is dócha)
Gort an t-Sagairt - a field near Clara School, where it is thought some priest had his house and garden in old times.
