    take the bottom out of it and open out the side as that the surface will be flat. Then bend the tin in the shape of a boat. Fold each end on itself, and hammer them tight so as it will not leak. Next put a small sail on it, and then the boat is completed.

    To make a bird crib get four strong briars and put them in the shape of a rectangle as shown in figure A. B. C. D.; Secure the ends with twine. The rectangle should measure about twelve inches by eight. Next get four more briars about nine inches long and place them as shown in
