    the top off of it and scoop the middle out of it. Cut two holes for the eyes and another hole for the nose. Then put a long cut for the mouth. Then get the skin of an orange for the teeth. Having this done you light a candle and put it in the middle of the turnip.
    An Engine.
    First get four polish boxes two sixpenny boxes and two threepenny boxes for the wheels. Get a snuff can for the body and half a cheese box. Then nail the wheels to wooden axles. Nail the axle of the small wheels to the snuff can and the axcle of the big wheels to the cheese box which is attached to the can. Then put a small hole in the top of the can to make a pipe.
