- There are five tailors in the district now. They all work at their own houses.
Two of them do not stock cloth. They use different kinds of tweed and serges. The implements they use are as follows:-
Sewing machine,
Smoothing iron,
Needles and thread,
Scissors,
Soap for the iron.
Flannelette and linen shirts are made in the looms. Socks and stockings are knitted locally. The people wear black stockings and black clothes at a relative's funeral. They wear(continues on next page)- Collector
