"Bán na n-duine". This field served as a meeting place for the people of Thomastown when local sports or Feis was held. It is in the townsland of Lagan, in the barony of Gowran, in the Parish of Thomastown.
"Tobar an Staighre" in the townsland of Newhouse, in the bariny of Gowran, in the parish of Tulaherin, got it's name from the stairs that leads down to the well.
"Tobar na n-daoine" in the townsland of Newhouse, in the barony of Gowran, in the Parish of Tulaherin, is so called because the people drew water from this well.
