  1. An old hurling match
Long ago there was was a great difference between the matches hurled now and then. The teams used to wear their own clothes while hurling. Tullaroan and Eire Og were the meeting teams in the match I am going to describe. The two teams met half-way out the country and whichever team hurled the ball home first was the winning team. Nearly all old men hurled then.
