  1. The Canal Walk
Among other beauty sports of Kilkenny the Canal Walk is said to be the most beautiful spot. It has natural scenes of great beauty and it is the favourite ramble of the Kilkenny people.
The entrance gate faces Rose Inn Street and has a small size lodge standing on the edge of the water on who's mirror-like surface a number of Swans often float. Looking up the river from John's Bridge we see numberous groves of trees which make a picturesque scenery on a Summer evening.
