    1. If a person saw one magpie it is said that he would meet some sorrow.Two magpies are joy, three for a wedding and four, someone is going to die.
    2. Some say that if a picture falls from the wall there would be a death in the family.
    3. If a looking-glass is broken it is said that seven year's ill-luck will follow.
    4. If a person let a glove fall he should not pick it up until someone picks it up for him. If he picks it up himself he will receive a disappointment sometime
