    In Kilkcreene there is a rath situated in a fiels called the "Ten Acres". At the back of this rath there is a stream where the fairies dance on a moonlit night.
    This old rath is surrounded with large palm trees. In winter it looks a very weird place. It is said that one night a man was going home from the fair and he happened to cross by this rath. He heard beautiful strains of music coming from the rath. He listened to the enchanted music of the "good people" and thought
