    'Tis twenty long, long years ago
    It is and maybe more,
    Since our young days of dance and
    song,
    Some few of us are s
    With happiness flowing o'er.
    Some few of us are still around,
    Grown serious now, and staid;
    You, who were little children then,
    Are grown to man or maid.
    To-night we'll sit around the fire
    And chat with Father John;
    He may just like to meet the friends
    Of those dear day's long gone.
    The circle round is pretty large:
    Ten, twelve or more are there,
    While Mam sits in the corner ,
