    St. Johns Parish-O'Loughlin Memorial Church.
    The foundation stone of this Church was laid on 2nd May, 1899 and it was consecrated on 28th June 1908.

  2. Market Cross, Kilkenny

    The Cross was of very elegant design, rising from a square basement, to which ascended on each side, six stone steps. The sculptured statues of St. Patrick, St. Ciaran, St. Canice and St. Bridgid were at the points where the gablets diverged. This cross was erected in 1335. It was taken down in 1771 by the Corporation, with the intention of having it re-erected on the Parade,
