  1. St Mary's Church
    Next to St Canices this Church is probably the most ancient of the Churches now standing in the City of Kilkenny. The date of its founding is not known exactly, but it is believed to have been erected very early in the thirteenth century. The interior of the Church contains some very fine monuments.
