    Jack made a large circle and then he made a deep hole with his spade and pickaxe. Next he cut a few branches from the trees, he spread these and light pebbles and made the place look like solid ground. Jack went up to the door of the castle and away as fast as he could after giving a loud knock at the door. He hid behind a bush. The giant hearing the noise rushed down to the place Jack made for him. He was killed at once
