    A long time ago there lived a giant in a big Castle near the River Nore. He was a huge size, more than double the height of the tallest man. All the people were afraid of him. He would carry away their horses and cattle ad sheep. A little distance away from the Castle there was a farmhouse and in this house there lived a brave boy who lived with his uncle and aunt. They had been made poor by the acts of the cruel giant. The brave little boy, whose name was Jack made up his
