    Cures
    1. Long ago in Ireland the old people had great cures. The first cure is for a sore throat. Heat some salt in a stocking and rap it around the inflamed throat.
    2. This cure is for the Whooping Cough. Heat some tar until it gives out fumes. Then hold the sick person over the tar until the fumes are breathed into the chest and lungs.
    3. This cure is for Jaundice.
