  1. Folklore
One summer evening a farmer and his workman were working in a field near a rath. They heard dishes rattling near by and they wished for food. When they came to where they heard the dishes rattling they saw before them lots of nice things to eat.the workman ate his share of the food but the farmer did not. The farmer died the next day and it's said he died for not eating the fairy food.
