  1. There is a big mound of earth near my house where a gentleman lived in olden days. His name was Saint Ledger. This mound was surrounded with wickerwork to keep the wolfs and wild boars from entring.
    There is a well convenient to it. The land at present belongs to Mr Hogan Cuffes Grange. It is in the townsland of Grove. In the same field there is a little pond where the people kept fishes. This little pond is there to the present day.
