  1. The thrushes blackbirds, woodquests, chaffinches, crows, jackdaws, stone-chatters and finches. Stares come in Spring.
    Woodcock come in the first frost.
    Swallows come in May and go in October.
    Thrushes build in the forks of hawthorns covered with ivy or in a mossy tree.
    Blackbirds build lower down in sides of ditches or in shrubby places.
    Woodquests in corners of high hawthorns secluded hedges.
    Chaffinches build in ditches around houses.
    Crows build in Larch groves or very high ash trees.
    Jackdaws build in chimneys.
    Finches generally build around orchards.
    Swallows build in rafters of houses or in the eaves. 5 eggs blue.
