  1. In a certain house in Scaugh their lived a English man named Mr. Dooley, and his sister lived along with him, they were very weltey, and in possesion of a large amont of gold they had know friends or relations to leave their money to so they made up their minds who they would be leaving this world to bring it with them, the girl when dying sent for her maid and said I feels very ill, warm a jug of milk for me, she put all her gold into the jug of milk and told the maid to boil it, she took the gold out of the jug and put in a pound of butter into it instead.
