It is also said that a little woman was seen every night on the top of a hill

It is also said that a little woman was seen every night on the top of a hill and when anyone was passing she used to hold out a box of snuff but most of the people said nothing but took the snuff. One night there was a drunken man passing by and she held out the box and the man took it and said.
"The Lord have mecy on all the poor souls," and the woman said.
"Thank you, sir, I will not bother anyone here anymore. I was waiting all the time for someone to say that and here you say it." With that she disappeared and never bothered anyone since.
